I am delighted that the Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences (SSSS) is a new member of the Symbiosis family. Symbiosis has always been proud of its wide range of activities and events related to sports sciences and physical education and the establishment of SSSS is a step in the same direction.

Sports and physical exercises play a great contributory role in youth development. In addition to improved health, they positively influence psycho-social, behavioural, and cognitive capabilities such as leadership skills. Moreover, they are proven to improve academic performance. I would go further to add that they instil core life skills such as discipline and team-work.

The School will function as platform to bring together a wide range of academic programmes, professionals and institutional events related to sports and physical training through courses in the MBA Sports Management Programme such as Event Management in Sports, Sports Technology and Human Resource Management in Sports etc.

The Institute is located at the Symbiosis International University campus at Lavale. The University boasts of a collection of leading-edge advantages in its resources, the most important of which is the talented pool of faculty members.
