Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences is pleased to announce its successful and action-packed season 5 of Final Placements for the year 2020-22 and for achieving more than 85% placements; for the students enrolled in the Post Grade Program in Sports Management, in spite of the difficult post-covid scenario in the market.
With a batch strength of 68 students, final placements kick started its recruitment process with 52 candidates being placed in 18 companies such as Sportz Interactive, The Bridge, GoSports Foundation, ITW Consulting, Tenvic, Total Football Analysis etc. Additionally, the college has been able to produce a total of 3 budding entrepreneurs who aim to make their own mark in the sports industry. A tough season due to pandemic saw Highest CTC at INR 12 LPA where as average CTC of top 25% is at INR 8.4 LPA.
An interesting feature this year was the industry vertical that showcased the largest number of openings, which was the fitness vertical. The job roles that were high in demand for this season were Digital Media and Business Development. The college grooms students who aspire to enter this industry to bear specializing skills in various domains, which are Sales/ Marketing, Technology/ Analytics and Events.
The association for this years’ range of companies have spread to supplementary verticals of the sports industry through some crucial internships and full-time placements. The students of SSSS have managed to associate themselves in multifaceted domains in sports such as football, volleyball, fitness, cricket, analytic, events, sports sciences, government jobs, etc.
With a respectable finish to season 5 of placements, a promising season 6 is well underway of the year 2021-23 with an aim of aggregating its quantity and quality.9 of the candidates are already having their Pre Placement Offer (PPO) in their hand.
